Hold Music for Member Services

When I was on hold today with MS they had some new music. It sounded like music from the theme parks. It had a song you here when waiting to see It's Tough To Be a Bug. They also had some music from the railroad. I can't seem to figure out it's a new CD or not and it is not on the Millenium CD. MS did not know what it was either. Anybody have a clue?

Sounds like it was the WDW Official Album; it's got the 'welcome aboard' from the trains, music from Main St., 'Beauty and the Bees' from ITTBAB, etc. (One interesting thing I noticed on it; the 'Epcot Entrance Medley' consists of all songs that are no longer used in any pavilion in Epcot!) They sell it all over WDW; I got my copy in the gift shop at OKW when we were there in December.

I have the official album of WDW and it doesn't have any of those songs on it. Do you know the exact name of the album that with the music I mentioned in the first post? I searched every music site on the web and can't seem to find it.

They update the official album yearly; the songs are on the album I bought there last December. I'll check it when I get home for the UPC# for you!

I too listened longingly to the music on hold while waiting to speak to MS. Last week we stayed at OKW and I picked up the "Official WDW CD" and the track from "It's tough to be a Bug" is on it.
From what I understand it is only available at the World. Even the "World of Disney Store" at Downtown Disney did not have it when I was there last week (maybe it was out of stock, didn't ask).
It has 25 tracks from many of the more popular attractions. But no MSEP!!!!! Hope you are able to get down there soon so you too can have something to listen to when not at WDW to get your fix!

Although most members would disagree with me, I love being put on hold simply for this reason. I love hearing all the themed music. I have even thought of calling and asking to be put on hold for a while, maybe an hour or 2 while I work. LOL! Yes, I am nuts!

I was wondering myself. I called MS for the first time early this week and while waiting I got to listen to sounds and music from The Haunted Mansion. I was wondering if it was always the same but now I know. It does make me want to go back! Of course, maybe that is the point.

This is the info from the "official Album" I picked up in February. It is different than the Official Album with the 2000 logo cover. The cover on this one has the Fab Five in front of the WDW Entrance gate with the 4 park icons (Castle, Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth, Earful Tower)in the backround. It is titled "Walt Disney World Resort Official Album" The ISBN is 0-7634-0689-9. The UPC is 50086 06827. There is also another number (maybe the Disney Records #) 60682-7. The track listing follows:

Thank you to everyone who replied to this thread. Unfortunately after checking a variety of music sites it does not appear that Disney distributes this CD yet. It is not even available off of Disney Records.
I guess we'll have to wait for our next trip this October to buy it.

I can't remember the company. However, there is a company that will go into Disney World for you and buy what you wished you'd picked up while there. Of course for a fee. But if I remember clearly it was about $15-20 to do this for you.
