Hojo's now giving special discount for AP holders!

Maybe this has already been posted, but HoJo's is giving the same 50% discount it does for the Entertainment Book to Annual Pass Holders.

I was searching to see if the ET rate was good for my upcoming trip next week and found this link. I am switching my reservation to HoJo's.

This really saved me because I don't have an ET Card, but we are getting an AP.

Yes, it is the same discount you get with the Enterainment Card.

I double checked and the dates are exactly the same...so I guess you don't have to buy that Entertainment Book (or Card) to get this rate if you are Annual Pass Holder.

If you Google Howard Johnson's Anaheim and go to their message boards you will find this information under discounts.

I made my reservation on-line using the promotion code for AP Holders - SD50 - and it didn't give me the full discount. The front desk told me to call back tomorrow when in house reservations is open (they are closed Sundays) and they will give me the full 50% off on all available dates.

I'm planning on purchasing a Deluxe Annual Pass as I'm planning on visiting DL and staying at HOJO's for my trips to DL in Feb and April/11. I am planning on purchasing the AP through the DL website. The question I have for all you Vetran DISer's is if I have the e-ticket for the AP, would HOJO's honor the AP rate so that once I'm there can trade the e-ticket for the AP (either the day I arrive or the day after)? Any info regarding this would be helpful, as I'm still trying to figure all the in's and out's of the AP as I've never had one before.

When we have gone using the Entertainment Card, they asked to see it, but they don't charge anything for your stay until you check out. Just book it with the AP/Ent. Card rate and as soon as you get your AP go show the front desk when you get back to the hotel. Anyone can book the rate, they don't charge anything until you get there (or don't show up!) they do not charge it upon booking.

Try the code LNAP on the HoJo website - I've used that code to get my AP rate on their website before, it will at least give you 20% off if it doesn't give you the full 50% off. (It's the AP code - not the ER code.)

Thanks for all the great info dmked, as you answered one of the questions I had about the AP, and I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions about it. Am planning on booking the hotel for both trips at the same time as they are so close together, and I can get the type of room that I want for next April. Thanks for being such a greyt DISer!

As mareed said, call during pacific time business hours. Then ask for in house reservations. Any other way (along with calling with calling during their lunch hour) will get you sent over to the 800 number operators who have NO clue about the special deals the Anaheim HoJo gives.

I called yesterday / Sunday and just asked for reservations for the time frame I needed and was told nothing was available.
Today/ Monday, with the tip from here, I called the same number and asked for the "in house reservations" and was able to get 2 nights of the 4 that we need in May. And they said they had quite a few rooms. This was for a Wednesday and Thursday night. We still need a Friday and Saturday, to which they said to check back.
So, its a start.

I will be in a similar situation during my December trip and I specifically asked about this a couple of days ago. The person that I talked to said that they will give me the AP rate for my entire stay even if I purchase the AP a few days into my stay. He said to come to the front desk and show it to them when I get it and it wont be a problem.

You need to see if your dates are on the calendar for the 50% off discount. This is identical to the Entertainment Rate calendar. Keep checking because my dates just came up on Friday and we leave today! If your dates are added to the calendar call inhouse reservations and they will adjust your rate.

I just called and added a room for the nights of March 3 and 4th. Kimberly helped me and shewas great. You guys are right, they are very helpful. I got the entertainment rate of $59.00 a night!

Thanks for the info! DBF already bought an Entertainment Card for our last trip in December and I think the card is good through November. But it's still good to know in case we decide to renew our PAPs
