HoJo vs. Best Western Anaheim Inn

We're doing a last minute trip to Disneyland this month. We've been to WDW 20+ times but this is our first trip to DL. We're staying 4 nights and the AAA rate for these two hotels are almost identical. We'll be walking to the parks. Which would you choose? Thanks in advance.

Have you checked to see if your travel dates are available at the entertainment rate at Hojos?

If they are, then I would pick Hojo.
Otherwise, if price is compairable, I would choose the other for proximity.

Wait....it is BW by the cross walk?? If not, then definatly go Hojo either way

Depends. Do you have kids who will want to swim? How important is the room to you?

With the rates the same, I think I'd stay at BWPPI, because it's the closest lodging to the park other than GCH. But then I don't really care if the room is darkish, dated, whatever-- as long as it's clean; and I've heard the BWPPI is fine as far as cleanliness and reasonably comfortable.

HoJo has a really nice pool area, especially if you have kids who want to swim; the Castaway Cove water play area would be ideal. The rooms are a bit lighter and nicer, staff is very nice, and the beds are rumored to be new pillowtops and very comfortable. The major reason I'm staying there, though, is because we were able to get the Ent. rate for our dates. Can't beat $79 a night for a "superior" room. Also the parking and internet are free there.

Thanks for your kind words. I know we'll have fun regardless of which hotel we choose.

It isn't the BWPPI but the Best Western Anaheim. I believe it's just down the street from BWPPI, but it's hard to tell how far the hotels actually are from the park entrance. I'm not taking kids, so there won't be a great deal of swimming. Since the trip is so last-minute, we're just happy to be able to get any room within walking distance.

As a PP suggested, check with the HoJo on the Ent. Rate. You don't need the Anaheim book, the card from your local book will do find. You absolutely can't beat the Ent Rate at the HoJo! Have fun!!
