HoJo Updated Ent Rate Dates Today (added June/July dates)

I just called to book July 30th and the lady at reservations was not even aware of the 50% full discount rates! She did pull up an entertainment code, but it was just the regular one. She didn't seem like she had ever booked this discount or had anyone ask about it. I guess I'll call back tomorrow and maybe someone else may know more? She didn't say it was sold out, just didn't seem to know what it was. I hope it's still available; it would really help with our budget!

You might have called the general howard johnson reservationist 1-800 #. You need to call the 714 phone number for actual in house staff during their working hours. i don't know what hours and days they are open, hopefully someon may be able to chime in with that information.

Thanks for posting this site! The entertainment dates only give one of my days, and I'm wondering how it would work it I booked one night that way, and the other night through this 1800HOTELS...I suppose I'd have to move my things during the day...?

In house reservations is only open M-F, they open at 8 AM and close at 5 or 6 I believe.

Just wanted to come back and post that they actually don't open until 9 AM. I just called right now and was told that when I called last week at 8:00, someone just happened to be there already from in-house.

Ok, another update:

This morning when I called, I was transferred to the main Hojo reservation line. I could tell because the recording you listen to while on hold is different. If you are on hold with in-house reservations, it tells you something to that effect, mentioning "in-house".

Thought that might be helpful. The recording also says that their hours are beginning at 8 AM -- so not sure which is correct, 8 or 9.

Called just now and booked our room! I got in-house reservations with no problem and booked a Queen Deluxe room for $69. Now I'm just waiting on that Entertainment book to get here...

I called today too, booked a room for the $59 rate later this month, one night only but that's what we needed. Now, we just need to decide if we actually want to go or not, we are waffling because the kids will be gone. I'm thinking we will go tho......LOL

I got transferred to the 800 line too, I asked the lady specifically "is this in house reservations" and she said "no, did you need them" and I said "actually yes" and she transferred me right back.

You can book the one night through the ET Rate, and then book the other nights through Hotels.com, but yeh- we'd have to hold your bags in our Luggage Room until your next room/reservation was ready for check-in.
