HOJO Super Double Beds

We recently booked at hojo's in their double bed room.They say theirs are only 3in narrower than a queen.My wife and I usually split beds on vacation.
One of our children sleeps with her one with me.Are these beds big enough?
Has anyone actullay shared one with someone?Thank You.

Yes, my dd and I stayed there and she insisted on crashing in my bed. No problem, as I have a queen at home.
