Hojo standard rooms

We will be staying at Hojo for our upcoming trip (me, DH, and 2 kiddos)
I am debating between a standard 2 oversized double room and a delux 2 queen room. The price difference is $10 per night or $90 total for our trip. Not a huge difference, but I am all for not spending on what I dont need, therefore, having more to spend on what I want.

Microwaves
Am I correct, delux have microwaves and standard do not? Is there a central microwave available in the lobby or gift shop that is available if we need one once or twice?

Bedding
Do the standard have the new bedding/mattresses that I have read about?

Balconies
I have read the freeway noise is quite loud on the balconies of building 2 (delux rooms) but very quiet inside when the door is shut. What about the balconies of buidlings 3,4 5,and 6? What is the freeway noise like? The courtyard view looks quite pleasent, is it?
Are balconies of standard and delux the same size?
I will most likely try to spend some time on the balcony reading while the little ones nap, or am I way off and the balconies are more for looks than function?

Beds
Are the oversized doubles really only 3 inches smaller than a queen? We are used to sleeping in a king.

What else can anyone tell me to help me make a decision. Who has stayed in a standard and what was your opinion? Please help me decide what to do!!

It is true that the Deluxe's in bldg. 2 have micros and the standards in Bldgs. 3-6 do not. There is no central micro for use on the property.

I would ask Lorealle on the HoJo boards if they have updated the bedding in the Pavillion rooms. Last I heard, they had not.

I have only experienced freeway noise on the balconies in Bldg. 1. Bldg. 2 balconies are quiet to me, as well as all the rooms. I assume the pavillion rooms are quiet as well, since the towers block the noise from the freeway.

I like the bldg. 2 NQQ2 rooms the best on the property. Personally, it would be worth the extra $90 for me to upgrade.

I just made a reservation for Hojo's for a Deluxe Room (NQQ2). Can anyone suggest some room recommendations.. or better yet,.. rooms that I don't want to have in bldg. 2? Thanks in advance.
