Hojo standard room

Hello All,

I haven't stayed here in a very long time but am considering staying here in October. How comfortable are the beds in the standard rooms? I stayed in a standard room many years ago so, I'm not sure if it would be the same as before but I really want a comfy bed.

Hojo has a number of different room types. If by standard rooms, you mean only the rooms in buildings 3-6, then I can't help you there. I haven't stayed in any of those rooms and don't know how recently the beds have been replaced. Though I do know they have been replaced sometime because I watched old ones being carried out and new ones being carried in during a stay a number of years ago. I have stayed in building 1 and building 2 regularly and find the beds to be very comfortable. Building 2 was just recently renovated and all furnishings were replaced, so those beds are nice and new. We stayed in a room with a queen bed in that building in June and found it very comfortable. We have also stayed in the rooms with two queen beds in building one (and the family suite with a king bed in building 1 though that would not be defined as a standard room). I don't wake up with any aches or pains when I sleep at Hojo and it is usually a very comforting feeling to lay down there at the end of a long Disney day.

It does say buildings 3-6. The price is really good and I was supposed to stay at Paradise Pier but after my last stay there a week ago I just can't see paying the prices they want for a bed I can feel the springs in. I complained but they couldn't do anything about it. Plus there were no restaurants open to add to it so, no room service on our arrival night at 8:30pm. So, I'm looking for a hotel with a descent rate within walking distance to DL with a comfy bed. I stayed here in one of the 3-6 buildings 5 on 6 years ago and the bed was comfy but that was a long time ago so, I thought I would check here to see if anyone has stayed in one of these rooms more recently and could comment on how comfy the beds were.
