We split our stay between HOJO and desert inn suites. I was happy with our decision and although dh and I both liked HOJO better we also loved that we were directly across the st and didn't have to walk the extra 5 min for those 4 trips. It was just easier.
The reason we split (2 nts and 3 nts) was because I wanted a suite for some of the time to separate the 3 kids for better sleep and the HOJO suites were out of our budget. So we had a reg rm - very spacious and nice at HOJO and then the suite at DIS for $125/nt. This included a very light continental breakfast but it did get us started. And they have indoor pool but that wasn't as nice as the kids area at hojo since we were there in the summer.
Next time I go I will probably do DIS again unless I can get a retro rate in early march at HOJO.
