I need help from the Hojo experts. I need to book Hojo 1 night March 20th 2 queen beds. I see the date being ENT. From reading on this forum It said to place promocode SD50 the room comes up for $79 I tried to book it- it takes me all the way to the end then says rate unavailable. Are the ent rates probably booked up? Should I call instead of doing this online. I have never stayed there before so I am not sure what to do. Also where can I get an ent card? I see some on e-bay but I have no idea if it's the one I need what do they look like?? ANy info would be much appreciated!

The ones on ebay are probably what you need. I got mine there for $1 or so. You just need the card.

I don't think the Entertainment/AP rate for HoJo can be done online. I believe you have to call In House Reservations at (714) 776-6120 and book through them instead. Don't go through the central HoJo reservations line as they do not know about those rates. Good luck!

Thanks! Should I actually book the room online then call and ask for it to be lowered to the ent rate? Are there only so many rooms they will offer at that rate does anyone know?

I would just call tomorrow morning, Pacific time. Call the 714 number, ask for "in house reservations", and do it then.

Sometimes the code works, but it usually doesn't.

If the Entertainment Book would be useful for you for other discounts (for instance, in my area, at least the last few years, they have given 4 $5 coupons for the grocery store we use second most...helpful!), just buy your local book. Otherwise, many people have bought the card on ebay; make sure it's the card that will be valid during your stay. They generally expire/restart in the month of November.

I would call first, because the rooms that you might want, may not be offered at the ent rate. However, one can book then if they become available at the ent rate call to have the rates changed. As to how many rooms might become available, I would ask the in house reservations agents that question.

I have done that before, booked the room over the weekend and called Monday to have it changed to the ET rate. :thumbsup2

I had the same thing happen to me. It showed it was available at that rate but when I went to finalize it, it wouldn't work. I called and they reserved it for me at the ent rate.
