Our plans have changed, and I just canceled a HoJo Kidsuite for Nov. 19 - 29. Hope this helps someone on the DIS!

Thank you! Just booked it for part of that time. Note to all Disers: Not sure we will keep the res, though, because I don't think DH will be crazy about overlooking the highway. I'll post if we end up canceling. Feel free to PM me for updates.

Only had the res for about an hour or so -- just canceled!! DH wants full-service hotel.

We will likely be canceling our kids suite for 12/4-12/11. Would love to stay there but just can't do it without the Entertainment Rate  Disappointed we didn't get it this year.

I'm keeping my fingerssupercrossed that the ET Rates open for the nights that you are waiting for them! :goodvibes

Lorealle, when are you guys going to start offering a free breakfast? I could finally talk my husband into staying there then. :) If the ET rates would have been available for our trip Dec 7-14 I might have talked him into a kid's suite but he really likes to start his morning with a nice fresh waffle when on vacation. Our kids love it too.

I don't want to answer for Lorealle, but the Mimi's restaurant right across the street, probably a 1 minute walk from Hojo's is the "official" restaurant of Hojo's. While they don't offer a free breakfast, they offer amazing food at awesome prices! and if you (and your hubby with a different email addy) signed up (within 2 weeks of your trip) to their email club, you would each get a coupon for a free breakfast entree when another is purchased. Here's a pics of mine and hubby's free breakfasts, so the bill for both of us was about $10. each time, as most of the breakfasts include orange juice, and honestly the meals are huge! when dear daughter still travelled with us, she and I would always split a meal. Seriously, it's just as close as if they were on the same property, we love sitting outside in the morning in the sun thinking about all our friends back home in the rain...hehehe (when we go in winter) and I'm sure I saw the entertainment rate available from Dec.13-16, that would be a couple of your days :confused3 and the others may even show up!

sorry...as usual I can not stop myself from eating some before I remember to take a picture!! lol....

Hiya specialks!

We don't have any plans to start doing a breakfast anytime soon, as far as I know- but I will be the first person to shout if from the rooftops if that ever changes! :goodvibes

Well, for a different viewpoint, I'm glad there is no "free" breakfast. If there were, then room rates would go up to pay for it because we all know it's not really "free". We much prefer to have a quick, easy breakfast prepared in our room rather than having to go to a common area in the hotel and pick up breakfast. :goodvibes

A 12 pack of muffins from Mimi's is incredibly, ridiculously cheap for what you get, and they offer enough flavors to be sure to please just about anyone! Add to this some milk, juice, and fresh fruit stored in the frig included in every room and breakfast is set! If we're in a room with a microwave, we like fixing some microwave bacon, but we can do without it if we don't have a microwave.

I second the no breakfast applause. It's worthless if you want to do things right--be there as early as possible. Anywhere else on the planet it makes sense--just not if you are going to Disneyland. Just pack some granola bars. Or a toaster and some freezer waffles lol. I personally enjoyed bagels and home made oatmeal cookies I brought with us sitting at the table looking out at the park in my room.
