Hojo - different room types? (Executive/deluxe/premium)

So, I thought I pretty much knew all there was to know about Hojo's. We've even stayed there once. Anyway, I was checking the entertainment rate for dates early next year, and a couple of different abbreviations popped up.

First of all, I'd never seen an "executive" room type mentioned. Hojo's description is this - 2 Queen Beds Executive Room, "NBQ2/Home Office/NS/2 Queens/Micro Premuim/5 Ppl Max/Daily Snack/Fridge/ Coffeemaker/ Hrdryer/Internet."

So what is a "home office," "daily snack," or "micro premium"?

Then, I was just curious the difference between room types, standard/deluxe/premium? We've stayed in a king on the highway side (which apparently was a standard). I thought they meant in the view type, but the descriptions also mention a view (ex: NQQ2/NS/2 Queens/5 People Max/ Deluxe/Pool View/NO Disney View/ Fridge/Coffeemaker /Hairdryer /Internet).

So I'm confused. I know I'd want two queens, but I want to figure out what the difference is within the room types, etc. I know it'd be a good deal either way with the entertainment rate, but still curious. Any pictures of the "executive" room, if anyone has any, would also be wonderful! Thanks in advance!

No, actually I stayed in the Queen Suite last week, which is labeled: SNQ1.

Let me try to help you break down the acronyms for rooms:

N: (means non-smoking, which is really a moot point now that HoJo is completely a non-smoking hotel).

Q: Queen (so QQ would mean two queens)

K: King

D: Double

B: Business or Office/Executive room (these include a larger desk area and a microwave and daily snack [trail mix and water bottles])

1 or 2 at the end signifies which bldg. with the exception of NDD1 (which will always be in Bldgs 3-6)

So:

NQQ2 is a non-smoking room in bldg. 2 with 2 queen beds.
NQQ1 is a non-smoking room in bldg. 1 with 2 queen beds.
NBQ2 is a non-snomking OFFICE room in bldg. 2 with 2 queen beds.
NDD1 are non-smoking rooms in bldgs. 3-6 with 2 double beds.

There are three tiers of room rates (although quite often standard and deluxe are the same price):

Standard, Deluxe and Premium. Standard rooms are the double/double rooms. Deluxe rooms are the queen/queen rooms in Bdgs. 2 and 1 (without Disney view). Premium rooms are NQQ1 rooms with Disney View and all Business/Office rooms. Suites of course, are their own category since there are only three of them in the entire property.

Hi Lorealle! :wave2: No, but I've sent enough people there and explained the room layouts so often, I feel like I could. HoJo Anaheim rocks! We rarely stay anywhere else (and when we do, we're reminded how much we really love your hotel). :thumbsup2

Question, where would one go to find entertainment rates???

You can check for ent. rates online by using the promotion code SD50. If ent. rates are available, they will show up. If you obtain an ent. rate, you can then purchase an ent. book at entertainment.com
