This is our first trip to Disneyland, so please bear with me! I was wondering if there are any good viewing spots on the HOJO property of the Disneyland fireworks. I thought it might be fun for the kids to see on the night that we aren't in the park. We will be staying in a kids suite, so we will probably have an awesome view of the freeway! Thanks!

There aren't any great views, those are from the park. If the kids are up anyway I suggest you view from in the park.

But from the Hojo since you will need to leave you room go toward the Habor and Manchester corner, have a view looking northwest. Remember the fireworks are shot from behind the park, across from the Hojo is the Matterhorn, roughly the middle of the park.

Thanks for your reply! We don't have park tickets on our arrival day or we would definitely go to the park. I thought if there was a decent spot to catch the fireworks that night we would. It sounds like we would probably be better off getting to bed early after a long day of travel and experiencing the fireworks for the first time in the park!

That may be the best way to do it. If your wide awake head out to the parking lot, if not get some rest.

I'm not sure when you are going since DL will have 3 different shows in the next 60 days(summer is Magical, Fall is Remember Dreams come true:thumbsup2, Halloween Parties have thier own show) but seeing the Castle and Matterhorn, like you do from the hub makes a big difference.

I've watched the fireworks from the HoJo hot tub, and thought the views were great. You could even hear the music. The whole pirate splash area has a great view.

We like to watch the fireworks by the water park area...we all get lounge chairs and watch the fireworks. In fact, we will be there on Friday night!!!!

You have just moved HoJo up in my Potential Hotels list. ;) The Pirate's Cove is a big reason I'm considering there anyway, for my kids' sakes. Letting them see fireworks from there just makes it that much more exciting.

This sounds like a nice way to wind down after a day of traveling.

Have a great time! I am jealous that you will be there so soon. Our trip is just two months away, but it just isn't coming fast enough.

That does sound pretty exciting, doesn't it?

I remember we were in bed the first night and kept hearing this booming and the windows were actually shaking we went outside and there were the fireworks right across the street it was cool. Plus they had the Ghost Galaxy going for Sparc Mountain and we could hear it when we had our patio door open too.

I have watched the fireworks from a disney facing room...and it was fine...actually very good view.
