Okay, Doodle98 and I have been PMing and thought we'd start up a Hogwarts RP, based off the Harry Potter books. If you haven't read the books or seen the movies, Hogwarts is a school for young witches and wizards to learn magic, and take classes like broom flying, charms, potions, transfiguration, and more. The years in the RP will be mixed, as to avoid major confusion. To determine the year of the student, base it off age. 11 year olds are 1st years, 12 are seconds, 13 thirds, and so on. They live in dorms for the school season, and take a total of 7 years, but some take only six. There are finals at the end of the year, as well. Fifth years have OWLs, Ordinary Wizarding Levels, and seventh years have NEWTs, Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests 
There are four Houses, they are like a student's family, with their own secret common rooms and customized dorms. Gryffindors are brave, Hufflepuffs are kind, Ravenclaws are smart, and Slytherins are cunning and sometimes greedy. You can pick your House, but keep in mind the Houses should be evenly numbered.
You may have one teacher and two students. You can make avatars in the RP, but they are not mandatory. Polyvore outfits for your characters can also be made, or whatever other site. When in Roleplay, you will use colors (when you can) based on your House. Gryffindor is RED, Hufflepuff is BLACK, Ravenclaw is BLUE, and Slytherin is GREEN.
