OOC: That's the interesting thing, because I didn't think she'd be hurt, either. I wasn't exactly extremely fond of the idea because I was afraid, but I always figured she would be pretty okay with it. Boy, was I proven wrong. She was really, really upset, and I was very surprised. But that's what opened her up more to me, as well, as I didn't realize she had so many abandonment issues until it happened. And, doodle, he technically did leave her. It was once, after the battle, and I think she was mildly depressed but nothing compared to later, as she didn't already know what it felt like. You have to understand that her and her mother were sort of in hiding until she was seven, so she didn't really have any close relationships other than Jayne. And then she was moved to live with other family, who clearly didn't take good care of her at all. She was neglected and mildly tortured mentally (at first) by them. And then she went to Hogwarts and met Evan, the first person she had who cared about her in four years. She knew her dad for a brief time in school, and then, just after he sent her a letter telling her he would care for her as soon as he could, he, too, was killed. And then she had Evan, and only Evan. And that's how it has been. He's impacted her in such a way that if she loses him I don't know that she can get better.
