Melanie: "No."

Georgie: "Why?!?! Where's Evannnnn? I wanna give him a biiiiiiigggg hug!" She grabbed her wand and summoned the knife. "I got it? I got it!" She giggled, stabbing her hand. "Drawing a picture!" She went over the ink on her arm, writing 'insanity' in blood instead of ink now. She was giggling, but tears were running down her face.

Melanie: She reached over and tugged the knife out of her hand. "Please stop," she said in a low, pained voice.

Darius: He destroyed the knife while it was still in Melanie's hand. "There. No more knives. Evan says so," he added.

Georgie: "Evan says so? i looooove Evan. he is my favorite." she blinked a few times and shook her head. "H-huh?" She said, seeing stabs in her hand. She looked at her arm. "Oh god. Mel, what did I do?"

Melanie: She closed her eyes. "Don't keep any more knives with you."

Darius: "Or, really, anything with a blade that can cut you. So I guess that rules out arrows, battleaxes, swords of Gryffindor....."

Georgie: "I get it, Darius." She said, a small smile on her face.

Darius: "Or, really, anything with a blade that can cut you. So I guess that rules out arrows, battleaxes, swords of Gryffindor....."

Melanie: She turned to Darius. "I've never seen the imperius curse do this before. Is it uncommon?"

Georgie: "I get it, Darius." She said, a small smile on her face.

Melanie: She turned to Darius. "I've never seen the imperius curse do this before. Is it uncommon?"

Darius: "Well.......it's a lot more common to be sent into insanity with the Cruciatus curse, you know, to be tortured into insanity. For instance, Bellatrix Lestrange tortured Frank and Alice Longbottom into insanity in the first war. The thing with the Imperius curse is that even if someone's controlling you, they can make you act normal, even if you really do have no control over yourself. That's why so many death eaters pleaded that they were under the Imperius curse after Voldemort was banished by Harry in 1981. Even if you don't or can't force it out, over long periods of time, you can eventually gain awareness and start resisting the curse. It's not supposed to bring madness, it's supposed to make you do whatever they want. The only way I think she could have gone mad with the Imperius is if she was told to torture herself, or if the caster was using the Cruciatus curse at the same time, or, the least likely but possible, and trust me, you wouldn't want this to be true, is that the caster somehow made a curse that combined the effects of the Imperius and Cruciatus curse."

OOC: Whoof, that was a mouthful.

Georgie: she put her face in her hands. "That's just bloody fantastic."

Melanie: Her face whitened. "Knowing Freya, that's probably the most likely."

Darius: "I really don't know what else to tell you girls. There's nothing else that's really conceivable."

OOC: Inconceivable!

Jane: But she could have used the same spell as Alaine... She decided to keep that to herself, for now.

OOC: I'm going to watch Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters in exactly 1 hour!

Darius: "I really don't know what else to tell you girls. There's nothing else that's really conceivable."

OOC: :P

Melanie: "I know, Darius," she sighed. "I nearly went into auror training."
