Joseph: he read it over then crumpled it up. "He hurt my daughter! And now she's like this! How do you expect me to let this go unpunished?!"

Claudette: she looked up at her husband. "Joe, please." She brushed a strand of hair from her daughter's face. "I'm so sorry, honey."
