Hogwarts Express when one park is closed

Was at Universal this past Saturday and Island's of Adventure had closed at 6pm that day. Went over to Kings Cross and asked if the guy there if Hogwarts Express was running and he said "Yes, but it's only doing round trips". Should have asked right then, but didn't think until later that this brought up a couple questions...1) Would a park hopper still be needed when one park is closed and they are doing round trips only and 2) Will this be normal operations when one park is closing early? During HHN, there are MANY days where USF closes at 5pm and IOA/WWOHP is open until at least 8 or 9.

Good questions. I would bet they're still going to require a park to park ticket though.

Even Univer$al should be able to see the positive publicity of allowing all guest to ride, because it would probably not be legal to sell a 2 park ticket upgrade to a CLOSED second park.

They do a round trip. This happened last week. I would imagine you don't need a park to park ticket then.
