HoB Gospel Brunch

Although we have been to WDW many times before, we have never been to the HoB and wondered what the gospel brunch is like and is it worth taking my Mum, who is a WDW virgin but likes a good sing song to songs of praise? Also does anyone know if you have to book it in advance and how much it costs?

hi, we booked just a bit in advance and took my parents They loved it, its a very joyful event and the food is great too Make sure not to sit too near the front or you may be up on that stage!

We visited the Gospel Brunch earlier this month, and it's a must do from now on. The buffet is the best I've ever had. The music is fantastic, as is the preacher man. It's not heavy on the religion, and getting up on stage is optional. We took the 13-00 performance and you get both breakfast and lunch options. I'm not sure if you get things like steak at the earlier showing. Book early.

Just bear in mind that Sond of Praise it ain't.

This is a weird question

I love Gospel music and find it uplifting anf moving BUT I'm an athiest who can't stand religion (of any kind!) would I still enjoy the show as just a show??

I'm just the same. I wasn't sure whether I'd enjoy the show, but it was excellent. They don't ram the religion down your throat, and you can have some fun watching our American cousins "praising the lord".

I couldn't get the picture of Kenny Everett with those big hands out of my head. Bit sad really I suppose.

lol Sid! Thats just how I felt too My parents are very staunch CofE (Dads a churchwarden) but the rest of us are pretty lapsed we loved it though
