We have tickets for the March 11th performance of Cirque at 6pm (this is a Saturday). We'd like to eat at HOB beforehand. How soon can I make ressies for our meal? How much time should I allow for a group of eight to have a light dinner? Show begins at 6pm, I'd like to be there by 5:30...pre-show at 5:45, right? If I made reservations for 4:30, would an hour give us enough time? TIA!

I'm in the same boat - we are seeing Cirque on April 12 at 6 pm. I don't think 4:30 gives you enough time. My plan is: big late lunch in our room around 2 pm, heavy snack before we go, and then dinner afterwards at 8:30 pm (Flying Fish).

i had a similiar situation a few years ago. we planned to eat dinner at Planet Hollywood and go see a movie afterwards. it was opening night(LOTR ROTK!!) and we knew we had to be there before hand or else we'd get bad seats.

anyway we were going to go to DTD early anyway so we could walk around. the bus took FOREVER to get to our resort(we were at Boardwalk so i don't know why it took so long) so we ended up getting there about an hour before the show. luckily we were seated quickly and we asked the CM if it were ok to have our meal served quickly so we could make it on time. i must say it was really great service and the food was still excelent.

anyway to make my long story somewhat short, i'd go a little earlier just incase anything comes up like that. if you have reservations you shouldn't really have too much of a problem but try and see if you can show up maybe 15 minute early and get seated.
