Ho Jo Room Location

We have booked a queen suite for next summer at Ho Jo's. The map indicates that these rooms are located in Building 2. It also looks like Building 2 backs up to the freeway. Is this correct? If so, do the rooms on the back of the building get a lot of freeway noise? Do I need to request a room on the front of the building that faces the courtyard? Thanks!

There is only one Queen "Suite" at the HoJo. It is in building 2. I stayed there last November and it's a wonderful room. I have some photos if you want to see them. We experienced no freeway noise at all in Bldg. 2, regardless of what room we have stayed in.

We stayed in building 2 as well in December over looking the pool and we couldnt hear any freeway noise.

If you're looking at the pool, you won't get highway noise. You'll get pool noise, but there are hours posted for that.

Don't know about the suite though.

AP discount at the HoJo is 20%. The Queen Suite has 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper (which my dd(11) found comfy, but I wouldn't put more than one adult on it).

"The Suites are exempt from the Full Discount Rate, but a 15% discount can be taken if the Entertainment Card is presented at check in!"

Here is some info. from their website. The suite is called SNQ1. (Non-smoking Queen Suite).


Our non-smoking Queen Suite in Building 2 [our 4-Story Building] faces towards our Garden Pool and is located on the 4th floor. It is the only room on our property capable of sleeping six people.

Two queen sized beds are separated from the rest of the Suite by two double doors. This spacious room has two balconies, a pull out sofa-sleeper, 1.5 bathrooms and two closets. In addition the small fridge that is standard in all of our rooms, this room also features a microwave for your convenience!

Because of its size and location, this Suite books up very quickly- so please call us so that we can book this in advance for you!

Dangermouse- Thanks for posting the pics! I'm wondering, the description in the above post says it has 1.5 bathrooms. But the pics look like it has 2 full bathrooms (one w/tub and one/stall shower). Which is true? I'm hoping for 2 full baths since we'll have 5 people.

It will be me, my husband and 2 boys (14 and 10 by the time we go). My sister will join us for part of the time. We're planning to give her the sofa sleeper and were hoping she could have an entire bathroom to herself (she takes forever to get ready in the mornings!). We're also going to bring an air matress for the 10 year old and it looks like there's plenty of room to put that on the floor. On the nights when my sis isn't there, we'll give the 14 year old the sofa and his own TV and the 10 year old can have his own queen in the room with us. I'm hoping I calculated all of this right!
