Who's with me here?

A few years ago, I discovered a wonderful thing. All the Black Friday prices I'd seen on the websites for WalMart were available on their website on Thanksgiving. So, being a smart mom, I shopped to my heart's content in my jammies while the kids watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

It was a fantastic idea. The kids are accustomed to Mom and Dad getting the occasional box at the front door, so they didn't even suspect a thing. Even older son, who could read, didn't think anything of it!

This year, there's a bonus. DH and I planned on buying a bunch of stuff from the Leg website. My boys are both into Lego's/Bionicles big time, and we figured we'd also get them the membership to the LegoMaster's club each. I got an email today that they're having 20% off for the next three days. Woo Hoo!

Now, if only NewEgg did the same thing, I'd be set. DH wants to build himself another computer, and has a wish list on there. No sales, and no way to get THAT shipped without the snoop figuring it out!

So, are you doing the online shopping deals tomorrow?

Suzanne

I love shopping online. I will be looking around tomorrow. I think that I purchase 75% or more of the gifts online.

I saw the Lego sale, but it's only 20% off if you are spending $300 or more. Did your email say something different?

Oops! Didn't open the HTML, but we're probably going to get 15%-two brickmaster memberships alone are 80 bucks. The best part of that is the two Legoland tickets we'll be getting free!

Oh I am with you! I am the queen of on-line shopping! princess: I almost never pay shipping or at least get a discount.
The other day the UPS guy and the Post office delivered at the exact time time. It looked so funny to see the UPS and mail truck parked outside. Every time the UPS truck goes by the kids and DH ask what I ordered. :teeth:
My dog embarrassed me a week or so ago. When the Fed-ex truck came she ran out and jumped in the truck!
Holy cow, after re-reading this I see I have all of the delivery bases covered! :rotfl:

Shopping online is the best! Every year, I end up getting more and more things online. about 75% this year.

So what's your best advice? Should I just check Wal Mart online tomorrow and you think it'll be apparent or is there some super secret handshake I need to get the BF deals online tomorrow?

K-Mart, too? How about Target? Toys R Us? Those would be our main players.

Thanks!

Count me in as a holiday online shopper! A few years ago I made the mistake of shopping in the mall and shipping. ACK! Never again. Online is the way to go. :)

I might try to get something at Best Buy online tomorrow.

I actually want to get a few things at Target and thats it.

I love online shopping all year long. My DH is amazed that I can usually find free shipping or a coupon code. I also shop through a rebate site so I end up getting money back on my purchases. Usually by the time Christmas is over, I get a rebate check of $75.00 - $100.00 back. :cool1: :cool1:

FYI, if you have Discover card, they are offering a 5% rebate for online shopping starting tomorrow thru xmas using the Discovre card for charging. Not a bad deal.

I looked at Wal Mart's website today, and they have a link on their home page where you enter in your zip code and it shows you the stores in your area and what will be on sale for BF.

brought all of my christmas presents already, 85% done online. I hate going in stores!!!!!!

I think I will be joining the online shopping this year :teeth: I'm tired of the lines and this year working in retail, makes me more leary.

DH and I are going to check out some of the sites today, I hope to find something! ;)

My suggestion to those asking, go to the sites for the retailers you'd planned to shop tomorrow. If you're not sure what their black friday specials are, there are two websites that I know of that have the ads and prices listed.

http:\\blackfriday.gottadeal.com
www.bfads.com

I'm off to do some shopping. Hope everyone has great success in getting their deals today!

I have discovered the joy of online shopping over the past few years- and there is no more fighting crowds in stores for me.
This year 90% of my shopping was online- and I didn't pay a single shipping charge, most of it was tax free, and I have had a discount code on everything so far :cool1:
