Ho Do You Protect Baby's Ears at Louder Shows?

Hi - does any one have a sure fire way to buffer the noise at some of the live shows. Our DS will be 10 mo. Too little for earplanes. Any suggestions? And can a little one get into the shows or is therea n age requirement? Thanks

We went to WDW when my daughter was 6 months old and again when she was 1. We just held our hands over her ears if a ride or show was loud, but she didn't really seem to mind much. For this coming trip (we will also be down for Halloween) she is 2 1/2 and I picked her up a set of size small ear plugs (hearoes) just incase.

When we went to Disney with my baby brother who, for the first trip was 4 months and once a year since. We carried a light weight jacket that we used to cover his head/face during shows like 'The Little Mermaid' at MGM where they sprinkle water on you. Generally if we was being held he wouldn't even wake up. More so if he opened his eyes and saw he was being held. During some of the really scary rides a binky or a small mommy moment and he was happy. It all depends on the baby.

My DS is now 16mo old his fitst trip he was only 5 mo. old. He was perfectly fine during shows and loud noises but, I would just use the little cotton balls if you think the noise would bother your baby.
