The saga of hotel booking continues... SL still isn't showing any discount after the 30% was pulled a few weeks.
But yesterday (and today) HNY is showing 15% off. Obviously this discount (if it doesn't go before) will end 31st Jan. It still makes the hotel just over £1700 for our stay (original SL price was just under £1100, now just over £1500 at std price). We could opt for a non lakeside view room which would bring price down to £1500. I'm not bothered about our view as we'll never look out of the window!
It's still a bit more than I wanted to pay as our flights were more expensive than expected and also myself and DD have had to have new passports (almost £130), so a saving on the hotel would be good.
So, question is should I wait and hope something better comes along for either HNY or SL? Or, should I just book the HNY.
Have to say, I wasn't that keen on HNY but been reading up quite a bit and it does seem to tick the boxes for us. I had sold myself to stay at SL with the 30% discount though.
Anyone got a crystal ball?
I really don't know what to do.
