Hmmm - what do you think I should use for pillowcase Disigns?

We are cruising next week and I want to do the character pillowcase signings.

Any one have any brilliant ideas? I love this board! We have so many to choose from!

Well... I'm no DISigner, but I was hoping to start. Since I had no inspiration, I thought I'd try filling some DISign requests. However, I am an complete amateur (this is the first DISign I've ever posted!), so I totally understand if you don't want to use it. I'm hoping to pick up some new techniques... it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but here we go...

Check the DCL forum and search the threads for pillowcase. There are several over there. I plan on doing the same for my girls plus an 8x8 photo mat for their cruise autograph books. I will save you some time and tell you what I have read - when you first check in on board, give the CM (in a ziploc baggie) your pillowcase with the markers (you choose the colors you want them to use) and a piece of cardboard so the ink doesn't bleed thru. If you want the autographs in a certain area, given them directions in writing. It doesn't hurt to throw some candy (that doesn't melt) in there as well. You will also fill out a piece of paper with cabin number, name, and if you want all characters, just princesses, etc. Then sometime during the cruise, usually towards the end they will deliver it to your cabin. There are some people who offer to embroider your design on to the pillowcase (they have those fancy sewing machines that scan you image and sew it onto the pillowcase) or you could do an iron-on. Natalie (donatalie) has some pillowcase designs in her photobucket. Kellybell and Milliepie also have the characters in their cruise attire. Again, check their photobuckets or 4shared accounts before requesting. You can also check ebay for the embroidered pillows. Some of the sellers are also DISers.

I really like the "Dream Big" saying. Very Cute!!
