I think it's time to move back to So Cal and go try and work at Disneyland hahaha who's up for it? Anyone wanna join me? Be roomies? Hehe :laundy:

Yeah this is my goal next year. Move back to So Cal and try my hardest to get a job at DL. Even if it's just serving food ;)

LOL! Ya, I just moved from Long Beach, and wondered, "Why didn't I ever try working for Disney while I was down there???"

I'm ready to move back!

Agreed! I moved from Long Beach a few years ago after college and now I think "what the heck was I thinking!?"

HAHAHA I've been trying to convince my husband for the last year that Anaheim is a great place to raise the kids but hes not falling for it....
Dang it! :rotfl2:

It would be fun to live closer to DLR but I wouldn't want to live down there. You have to take at least five freeways to get anywhere! Very confusing for me! :crazy2: I'll just stay here. :)

I have been insisting to DH I want to move to Cali. In So Cal area I have a friend in No Cal she's near Chico, and from there, and really is no fond of it. They moved back from Hawaii to Cali. Honestly it's nice to vaca here, but as far as living goes unless you were born, and raised here like DH it's just not for me. In population it's crowded like Cali no biggie, in terms of everyday things it's ridiculous how upped prices are cause things are shipped in. I'm born, and raised in Louisiana I like to be able to get in the car and road trip, so what if it takes a day of driving here it's fly, or be stuck. (blah)

I love the busy-ness :) I was born and raised in Orange County and only moved away 5 years ago so now I'm suffering

If we could find jobs that would allow us to live in So Cal at the same "level" we are at now we would move. But there simply isn't anything that would give us what we have now so we will stay here and deal with the 6-7 hr drive a few times a year.

I'd love to work for Disney, but really there aren't that many positions that I would be able to do...I'm pretty specialized in my area and so is DBF.

The freeways are really sooooo easy once you figure it out!

You soooooo must not be in the Bay Area hahahahahahahahha!!! Its one freeway for me for what seems like forever, I get near her place and suddenly I need to take 5 seperate freeways and all of them I need to change four lanes in order to get on to the one I need!!!:rotfl:

I wish I could work at Disney, but I couldn't live in the OC. I am snobby like that :snooty: :rotfl2: Though DH did try to get in at Burbank, I am happy he didn't get it though with all the layoffs over there I told him he needs to wait till he is bored of his new job and try to get into Disney then, the only thing is h only changes jobs every ten years or so hahahahah!

I tried to find work in the OC area amd maintain our standard of living and it was impossible just to find a job.

I ABSOLUTELY feel your pain, I used to live close to the Bay Area where I could have anything and everything I wanted with a 15 minute car drive, now I have to search high and low for something to do, or somewhere to go....I shouldnt complain, I moved to raise my kids in this part of the beautiful country, but sometimes I miss the city life!!!!
