HM Question

Hey Guys,


So my mum and I arrive at 6.40am at LAX on the 9th September and we were planning on settling into our hotel and going shopping and looking around Anaheim....BUT I then realised the HM is colsing down on that day and I really wanted to go on it because I didn't last time! What do you think I should do, I have to be at dinner with some friends at around 6.30 at night but we do have all day.......??

We have a 5 day pass for Disneyland too, we are there for 8 days.

Upgrade your 5 day to a 6 day pass. The difference is only $5 I believe. If you want to get on the Haunted Mansion that bad, then I would pay the $5 upgrade. However, with the Anniversary for HM that day, I would have to imagine that the lines for the ride are going to be fairly long. Just be prepared to wait it out. I think the ride is worth a little wait. And waiting in line in Disneyland is better than no Disneyland at all, IMO. You'll have fun regardless. You can go in, get a handle on the park, pick up maps and whatnot and be prepared to hit everything right away the next morning. Have fun!!!

It is going to depend on your ticket for the park to convert to a six day and how much it will cost, but I would do it regardless.

If you have a 3 for 5 day park hopper which is what I am guessing you have,

To change it online or with Disney Travel it will be 15.00. It will go from 179.00 to 194.00. In this case you would have a 6 for 4 day park hopper.

If you do it at the gate, to my knowledge, you cannot get the same special. You would have to upgrade to the standard 6 day park hopper which is currently going for 209.00 meaning you would have to pay an additional 30.00 dollars to upgrade.

Either way you decide to do it, I say upgrade so you do not miss it. HM is awesome.

I don't think we will upgrade as we will just do the shopping on a day we were planning to do Disneyland. Mum isn't as into the whole Disney thing as me so she won't want to do 6 days there.
