HM quest bug

Does this happen to anyone else? Once I finally got my 45 ghosts, which takes forever!!!!, the next step is "planes trains and automobiles," so I go to the monorail station and it says I have failed the step and it kicks me back to the Frontierland Hub horseshoe step, meaning I then have to try and get the ghosts again. Arg! How to fix this?

What you need to do is to get past the third atom. Once you get passed that - if you make a mistake - you will not get bounced back to Frontierland or Haunted.

My suggestion to you is b4 you click the step after Haunted, go to the monorail station and find an empty station. Then look for atoms, but remember the 2nd or 3rd one you need to sit in a chair. Good Luck.

once i get my 85 ghosts individually in the green car quest, the quest wont move on to the next task! it still says to get 85 ghosts! what is up with that?

To get the quest requirement of 85 ghosts,
In fact this is the same for any quest on how VMK counts ghosts.

you can not count the people who turn into ghosts in your total,
THEY DO NOT COUNT For credits or quest total numbers of Ghosts,

Only go after the real ghost coming out of the coffins,
You can tell how many ghosts you are really catching after you finish the game and see the credits it awarded you then divide by 5,
I hope this helps you, I was lost for awhile on that.

My best so far is 83 ghosts,
But the score was a 101 ,but that is counting the people who turn into ghosts to help me win.

Well my first question to you is can you get the score required in Fireworks? which is 280K. If not, then do not worry about the ghosts until hopefully, they rethink the quest and lower the score. Because if they do, it will restart all the work you did on the quest.

If you can, than that is awesome. For your 85 ghosts, you have to make sure it is only ghosts in that 85 total - not other players that are ghosts that you clean. They will not count for your total of 85.
