We haven't been in September or October for many years.
Generally when does HM reopen w/ the overlay? And when do they close IASW to put up the Christmas decorations? :confused3
We would like to go sometime around Sept 25-28th to hopefully beat some of the October crowds.

IASW/IASWH

For the last few years, IASW has been going down for refurb on the second-to-last Monday in October, and it's usually been down for 18 days. If this year's refurb is similar, then IASW should be down from Oct 19 (Mon) to Nov 5 (Thurs), and IASWH should open on Nov 6 (Fri). (In '07, the official dates for IASWH were announced in early August.)

HM/HMH

For the last few years, HM has been going down for refurb shortly after Labor Day, and it's usually been down for 17 days. But this year Labor Day is on Sep 7, and the HM has a special 999 Haunts event on Sep 9 (9-9-09). IF they close HM on Sep 10, and IF they can install the HMH overlay in 15 days, then there's a chance that HMH could open on Friday, Sept 25, 2009. But there hasn't been an official announcement. (Last year the official dates for HMH were announced in early June.) IMO your best bet is to wait until early June, when hopefully something official will be announced.
