Hit the Jackpot!! $49.00 Airtran fares from DTW!

Patience has paid off!! Airtran has $49.00 each way fares from DTW!! And the bonus is, they are the non-stop flights (I hate to fly)! I just booked our flights Aug 24 - Sept. 4, for the three of us, for a total of $351.30. I paid $500.00 last Sept. on Airtran for us to fly, so I feel like I just hit the Jackpot. Hurry up Michiganders, and get this fare while it's HOT!

Congrats!!! I got airfare a couple of weeks ago from Northworst for $117 r/t. Before that, it had been anywhere from $175 on up (end of Sept.). Great find! I think that tracking and finding the right airfare is the most exhausting part of planning these trips.

Yeah, I have seen those too. Unfortunately after I had already booked NW for 122 PP! Fortunately for me, the difference only ended up being about $15 after taxes, etc. Now I just hope I don't end up delayed or bumped!!
