We just got back and my husband and I got into some "discussions" about where old attractions used to be. We need some expert clarification...so we can see who's right! What used to be where Buzz Lightyear is? Where was Captain EO? And, what used to be where Stitch is now? Help please!

I can answer the Stitch one for you- it was Alien Encounter. As for the other 2 I don't know

"Buzz Lightyear" started out as Eastern's "If You Had Wings". Delta ran it for a while too as "Dreamflight". Before "Alien Encounter" there was "Mission To Mars" located where Stitch is. And Captian Eo was at Epcot's Journey into Imagination first. But I may be wrong or forgotten some.

Captain EO occupied the theater where Honey I Shrunk The Audience is today.

Before Mission To Mars, there was Flight to the Moon.

Yes, I remembered that Delta Dream Flight used to be where Buzz is now. But, what was in the MK location before Alien Encounter and now, Stitich? Also, I thought Captain EO was in a MK location. Need expert info please!

In 1971 that space was used for "Flight to the Moon", which changed into "Mission to Mars" in (I think) 1975.

Editied to add Capt EO was located in Epcot.

Capt EO was always at Epcot in the Journey to Imagination. You may be thinking about the Disneyland version.

Is Captain EO, the Michael Jackson 3D show?

When dh and I honeymooned at Disney in 92, I remember going to that and I thought it was at Epcot where Honey I shrunk the Audience is.

Yes. Captain EO was the Michael Jackson 3 d movie. It was replaced by Honey,I shrunk The Audience. It was always in Epcot at Imagination.
