Hey everyone! I'm doing a little planning (er, scheming really) ahead and was wondering when the fall bounceback offers have historically changed from free dining to room only. We'll be down October 1-4, and are planning to book a bounceback for Sept 2016 at that time. We'd prefer the room discount to the free dining, and I'm worried we'll be a little too early for that. I've done some searching on the boards, but can't figure out when the change occurred in past years. Thanks for any help you can offer!

When we were there last fall, both offers were available for booking (this was on Nov 5 and we booked both). However, the CM stated that the BB FD was just a few days away from ending, so as you can see, the offers overlapped vs completely changing over.

This post (dated Oct 24, 2014) shows about the time the BB RO was released last year...

As mentioned by Lehuaann, I believe when there is a bounceback offered, the room only option is always offered and free dining is for a limited period. I always ask for the room only offer, because we don't want free dining. We booked a room only bounce back for Nov. 2015 when we were there in Dec. 2014.

If we get to make our trip in Nov. I am hoping to get a RO bounceback for the Grand Floridian for either Jan or Feb 2016.

Thank you both for the info!! Lehuaann, I remember reading that thread before but couldn't find it - lots of good info there! MsThumper - I'm with you - we prefer the room only offer too.

I have not heard that before. If true, it would be great, because I will be there mid-Sept and am not interested in free dining. I was expecting to have to wait for a pin code or regular discounts to come out. I did hear there was some overlap in October/November, but haven't heard of anyone getting a RO in September.
