historical airfares for labor day weekend

I tried to search, but it wouldn't work

DH and I are going on a 3 night cruise this August 31 to celebrate our 10th anniversary and returning home on September 3. I have been looking at airfare for a while, but everything seemed too high and I thought I would wait it out until Southwest opens up. Jet Blue in particular was an okay price going down, but coming home was through the roof!
I am just now realizing that it will be Sunday of Labor Day weekend that we need to fly home

Anyone have any idea approximate fares from the same weekend last year?
We will fly out of either Boston or Providence to Orlando.

We are going to WDW after Labor Day (9/8), and fares look pretty high for me for that time of the year. They are almost 200 pp from NY-FL. Maybe the sales will come later? I know we paid 135 pp on Song last Oct (right around the Jewish holidays in Oct). I booked that fare last Feb, so I'm surprised I can't find around the same for non holiday times in Sept.

Last year we all flew down on 8/24 and flew home 9/2 (Friday night of Labor Day weekend) and we got a pretty good rate ~ about $155 pp round trip on Song!! It's higher than that this year, and I don't really want to jump on booking Delta at his point. It's just DH and I so I was willing to take the risk of waiting until later for Southwest dates to open up...now I'm just afraid they will be through the roof for the Sunday return!

You can fly Allegiant Air out of Worcester MA on your dates for 164.00 round trip. This goes to sanford airport not MCO. Hope that helps!

thanks.... The cruise is 8/31 ~ I forgot to say that we want to fly in the day before, so we actually need a flight for 8/30. Allegiant does not fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
