Historic water park refurbishments

Currently looking at 2017

• Typhoon Lagoon closed 1/7/2018- 3/17/2018
• Blizzard Beach closed- 10/29/2017- 1/6/2018

Is there any way seeing when 2016, 2015 and 2014 were? I recall that the water park was closed on earlier date last year

i found them, ignore the post please. So it seem it's Blizzard Beach always around October and any date from early to end of October so no way of trying to predict what the dates for next year will be

I am not sure what year they changed but it used to be Typhoon Lagoon closed first then Blizzard Beach (About 5 years ago???). Just when you think you know what is going to happen Disney will change it on you.

It changes (and always has) for specific reasons.

They PREFER to keep BB open during Christmas dates because BB is already "decorated" for the holidays.
But, if BB is in more need of a refurb than TL, they will close BB first and run TL during the holidays.
