Has anyone done this tour and if so, would you recommend it? I am interested in the Queen's Staircase. Would it be better to go on our own or is the tour worth it?

Thank you for your help! :boat:

We took the tour last April and enjoyed it thoroughly. They park you at the top of the Queen's Staircase and tell you the history of it, then you walk down. They drive the van down to pick you up at the bottom. Being unfamiliar with Nassau, I wouldn't have wanted to walk to it myself (my husband things we can next time, haha). I enjoyed the tour greatly.

Thank you for your reply! I wanted to visit some historical sites in Nassau and thought this would be nice. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The forts sound interesting as well.

Thanks again for helping me decide. :flower:

at $22 per person I thought it was worth the money and the time

We got to see the fort at the top of the hill (Ft. Finncastle?), paid 25 or 50 cents to go up to the top of the water tower for a good view of the island, went out to Ft. Charlotte (beautiful old fort you could roam) and they took us out along Cable Beach and showed off some of the large houses out there.

I just called DCL and booked this tour. I also booked the Castaway Cay Waverunner tour. They were able to fax the confirmations! I'm offically excited! :flower1:

Thanks for all of the info! :boat:

We took it last spring, (me, hubby and daughter-22). We all loved it.
The two hours are well spent, we would have never got to see all of it on our own..or, it would have taken us forever. Traffic is very busy in Nassau.

We highly recommend this tour.
