My biggest tip would be that if your child will fit in a stroller, then hire one!!:thumbsup2

We recently spent 8 days at POFQ and did 5 days at the main 4 parks plus 1 day at SeaWorld, as well as 2 days at Typhoon Lagoon. It was our most intense visit ever, as previously we had stayed off site, and had never done consecutive days at parks before.

A stroller means that all the adults can move at adult pace (my husband was in an ECV so could keep up too) and even hurry to get to a timed event if necessary without having to wait for 'little legs'. The child gets to ride and you also know where they are.

My grandaughter princess: is nearly 7, but she fitted easily and I saw many other even larger children in strollers. I gave her a map to study while I steered her around, and she made a game of finding her stroller each time we got off a ride.

At $15 a day ($12 at SeaWorld) it's not cheap, and I hadn't thought before we went that I would hire one at every park, and indeed, I didn't at our first park - Animal Kingdom where just she and I went. However, next day was a full day/night at Magic Kingdom, and once we'd hired the first one we were all hooked!

Are you talking about Orlando Strollers??

Hi

No, we hired our strollers each day at the park. I expect it would have worked out cheaper to hire a stroller from a hire place for the length of our stay, but the beauty of the park strollers is the size.

if you do decide to rent a stroller at Disney for the length of the trip there is a small discount for paying for them in advance. I also simplifies the pick up each day.

what is the price to rent a double stroller for a week stay in the parks-6 days? how does it work?
thanks

We rented the double stroller last year for our 5 and 7 y.o. We brought our single stroller for our 2 y.o. The double rental was expensive (we paid fo the week), but totally worth it. These parks are HUGE for little legs and the stroller helped cut down on the complaints, fatigue, as well as allowed us to get more things done walking at adult pace. They are also large enough for the 2 older to sleep. Many nights DH and I closed the park down and the kids were all asleep in the strollers. We had a fuss free trip and I contribute a lot of that to the kids comfort.
