Hi

Has anyone stayed here? I've just booked to go there and it looks good with decent reviews, does anyone know what the parking is like around the streets?

Phil

Hello!

We've stayed there multiple times, we really like it!

Some of the rooms are a bit run down and need better maintenance but it's more slightly annoying things than anything serious - I've heard of people finding real issues (like a toilet not flushing) and they were moved to another room very quickly.

We usually book a suite (i.e. bedroom separate from living room/kitchen area, there's really a lot of space. For our small family (DD, DH and I) it works really perfectly.

We used to park in the streets around the hotel, it's not always easy, and sometimes we ended up parking a bit far away. But when we were there last we saw that a few of the streets near the hotel are now non-parking (and we saw quite a few policemen putting fines), so we ended up getting a parking space in the hotel (I think it was 10 euro per day but don't quote me on that....) We'll probably do the same next time.

Thanks for that, I will keep my eye on the parking and make sure i do not use their towels.

I found an extremely cheap rate for this hotel the week of the Disneyland Paris half marathon. The location looks fantastic because it's walking distance to the Auchan hypermarket at Val d'Europe, as well as DLP. What's the towel situation?

I'm not sure, to be honest.... We've never had any issues with the towels. They're not the fluffiest of course, but they're OK, I thought they were similar to towels in any hotel.

The location is really good. 5 minutes to Val d'Europe and 10 minutes to the parks (walking).

Thanks for the advice! Does the hotel provide shampoo and conditioner? How was the wifi?

Yes, there was shampoo (and I think conditioner too). However they don't refill them; one thing about the Hipark is that they don't come in to clean the room every day (the longest we've stayed was 3 nights and no one came, I think they come once a week for longer stays but I'm not 100% sure).

Wifi was fairly good, we managed to watch netflix on our ipads and all. You need to keep putting in your password every now and then, but that's the only slightly annoying thing about it. Otherwise yes, it's pretty good for a hotel wifi.

Wow, that's impressive. I'm happy to hear that because poor wifi has been a point of stress for me on various trips.

If you use there towels, dishwasher tablet or washing up liquid, they will charge you extra, we are bringing our own because we are driving. The location looks great and I'm going to do a video walking from the hotel to park gate so people can see how close it is

We've never been charged extra for using their towels or dishwasher stuff (though better to bring your own because the bottle is very very very small, and you only get one tablet). Is this a new policy?

Not sure, its just what I've seen on a lot of trip advisor reviews, this was from people that gave the hotel a good rating so it seems reliable.

Strange. We've stayed there many times (must be close to 10 now) and never had any extra charges for using anything in our room. Maybe they charge you extra for towels for the pool?

Location is really excellent :)
