Hi,
I'm still thinking about where to spent the third legg of our stay in Orlando (7 nights CSR, 2 nights RPR) .
I can not choose between the Hilton and a value, both at the same price (85 $) or the Hilton even cheaper with Mousavers discount (75$).
What would you guys do ?
Btw we have a car so transportation is not an issue.

How many days are you talking about for the last leg of your vacation? I would say that if you are planning on hanging out at PI, DTD or TL then stay at the Hilton. If you are planning mostly park days to end your trip and don't plan on being at the hotel much, then try a value. I don't have any children and usually like to limit my time staying where a larger amount of families with children are.

I would stay at the Hilton.

The value resorts are just completely overrun with kids. The Buss lines are always long, food courts are crowded, and the pool is usually a zoo.

plus at the Hilton you could walk to dtd

Pietnoek,
How did you get the Hilton for $85? I found the government rate to be $139!
Thanks, Candi

We had stayed at the AllStar Sports a few years back - and due to airline changes - we had to stay an extra day (we were all so upset ;) ) But AllStar was booked - so we moved down to the Hilton. WE LOVED IT!

I am always one for staying on site, but the Hilton was great. Within walking distance to DD. It was a great relaxing way to end the trip, with their huge pools and hot tubs. We really didn't use the pools at the AS b/c there being so many people using it (it was memorial day weekend). The people were great and I still felt like I was in Disney which was the most important part.

I'm not sure how the transportation to the parks are since we only stayed there one day we pretty much took in the hotel and DD. So that you might want to find out.

Enjoy your trip!!!

Go to mousavers and the off-site hotels section and then click te Hilton link , enter your date and then put MOU in the code section.
Then, end of august you get 75 $ a night.

I would say the Hilton-you get Extra Magic Hour and it's a nice hotel. You don't get a slide at either, but the Hilton does have a hot tub and other "deluxe" resort amenities. I cna't believe I am saying this isnce I'm a big beleiver in ONSITE. If you have your car, it's no problem. It's really quick to the parks!
