We just returned from a 6 night stay at this hotel. As far as the hotel, it was very nice. The rooms were large, the staff very welcoming and it was nice having a room away from the kids after long days in the parks. The free breakfast was ok but, try to get there early because they run out of a lot of items about 9:00.

Now, for the reason I am posting this. Even though the hotel was nice and I didn't mind that it was away from the park, ART is the reason I would never consider staying here again.

I am pretty easy going when it comes to traveling to Disney. I know what to expect when it comes to crowds, etc. BUT, when you have to wait over 2 hours for a shuttle to the park, there is something very wrong. The sad part is the hotel has no control over this (they called ART many times) and in my opinion, ART has ruined the reputation of this hotel as well as others that are not located across the street from DLR.

After 2 1/2 hours and rescheduling out PS at Storyteller's 3 times, we finally made it. Needless to say, this was not the only delay but, it was the longest. Most shuttles took about 45 minutes. Since they advertise 20 minutes, this is totally unacceptable IMHO.

We finally decided to drive and pay for parking on our last day when we saw the line at the ART pick-up point. The funny thing is when they did show up, they would send small shuttles that in no way would fit all of the people waiting and a lot of people had to wait for the next one. We spent too much money on this trip to spend most of our time waiting for shuttles.

Again, I think it's real a shame that the reputation of good hotels are being ruined by ART.

We stayed at this hotel in July when we came down to go on the DCL cruise to Mexico. I agree, the hotel is great. Large rooms, pillow top mattresses on the beds, wonderful staff (nicer than our previous stay at the Hyatt - Garden Grove). This hotel would be better off getting their own shuttle bus to use (even if they charge more because of it).
