Hi! I might have exhausted my research but wanted to check in here. Does anyone know of a Hilton resort, with nice pool areas, that have kitchens, one bedrooms at least, and rentable with points? On top of it, that would have availability the week between xmas and New Years? Can be slightly further away from attractions. Thanks!

I would try the vacation clubs like Tuscany village.
I do not have experience with this one but we stay in a Marriott/Sheraton vacation club using spg points so I'm sure Hilton is not different.

Save your points for hotels in Europe or Asia. You'll get a much better value from your points.

We just got back from a trip to Hilton Grand Vacations at SeaWorld. It was FABULOUS. Had a suite with a full kitchen. It was immaculate, and the Covid protocols were wonderful. The pools were lovely and the staff was fantastic.

Here's a list of the resorts to look up:
Las Palmeras by Hilton Grand Vacations
Hilton Grand Vacations at Sea World
Parc Soleil by Hilton Grand Vacations
Hilton Grand Vacations at Tuscany Village

My guess is there may be no availability, but many people with reservations may not be able to go this year due to COVID. Keep checking availability. Also see if there is a website for owners where they post when they are going to cancel a reservation so you can grab one once it hits the system. Also try calling the resort and see if they have any insight on how to snag a last minute trip over the holiday week. Make sure to call the resort to see if the pool and hot tub are open. Many off site resorts have closed hot tubs if that matters to you.

Will you be using Hilton Honors points or Hilton Vacation points?

It would be Hilton points. We did book a townhouse, for one week, so now we will keep our eyes open for after xmas week for extending our stay. We might have better luck with availability. Thanks!
