We're staying here May 2-10. Does anyone know how deep the pool is at the deepest areas? We stayed at the Hard Rock last summer and the pool was very shallow and rather disappointing. Well disappointing for the two adults anyway

Also does anyone know what sort of lock is on the balcony door. Our son is autistic and I have a (irrational) fear of him getting up in the night and opening the door and falling If the lock is just a regular one we'll make sure to request a room on the main level.

Does anyone think the shuttle is worth it? We'll have a rental car but to save the DH from driving I thought the shuttle might work.

4 and a half feet at the deepest point.

Didn't look special to me but you can call the Parc Soleil directly and ask. The balconies aren't screened in. There is also no door to the balcony in the bedroom, you have to go through the living room. There is a separate latch meant to keep people out but it would also keep someone in. If a child unlocked it and tried to open it that latch would keep the door from opening.

If you want a screened balcony you could try HGVC Seaworld, it's only 5 minutes away and the best HGVC resort for families.
