We stayed there for 3 nights, 3/9/11 - 3/11/11, departing the morning of 3/12 for 7 days at Grand Beach Resort. I prefer a resort that is multiple units of 2 - 3 stories. This place was 2 large buildings of 15 floors each. Much more like a hotel...and they are adding 3 more buildings.

Staff was very accomodating. Room was very nice...we had a 1 bedroom and it was plenty large. MY DW and DGS spent more time around the resort than I did, but they liked the pool and they enjoyed their lunch next to the pool.

Parking is covered (they have both inside and outside), but the parking garage spaces are very narrow and they get filled up pretty quickly.

The resort sits about 2 miles off Route 535, just North of Hotel Plaza Blvd. It is in a good location. I think it will be much nicer in 5 -7 years, after the other buildings are completed, their landscaping is more mature, etc.

We did a timeshare tour to get a good room rate plus 2 park tickets. The tour was good, low pressure, not bad at all...a hair over 2 hours.

Overall, if you can get a good deal there, go for it. It is a somewhat upscale resort with more of a hotel atmosphere, but it is extremely nice and if the price is right, go for it. I would only return if I could get another good deal.

thanks for the review. I had my eye on this place as well. The price seemed right. So many choices.

We will be there in June...just wondering what park tickets did you get for the tour? I have heard from several sources here that the tour is doable- we already have Sea World and Aquatica tickets wondering if it would be worth our time??? Thanks

We stayed at the Parc Soleil last Aug. and LOVED it...Rates were cheaper but it's nice they don't have resort fees/parking fees like other hotels I have been too! Cleanest hotel I have been to!
