People often talk about "Bonnet Creek" but I often do not know if they mean Wyndam or Hilton. What are the main differences? Is one better than the other? If there is a comparison thread can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I do not know that there is a comparison thread, but I think most folks here are talking about the Wyndham Bonnet Creek, not to be confused with the Wyndham Grand at Bonnet Creek. The Hilton and Wyndham Grand are hotels, while Wyndham Bonnet Creek is a timeshare resort, so rather than your standard hotel room, you can get a suite with 1-3(?) bedrooms and a full kitchen.

We have never stayed at the Wyndham timeshare resort, but we stayed at the Hilton last year and loved it - great lazy river pool. This summer, we're giving the Wyndham Grand a try. I wouldn't mind staying at Bonnet Creek (the timeshares), but I've come to the conclusion I'm not cooking on vacation so we do not need a full kitchen. ;)

Oh OK, so the Hilton is just regular hotel. How does it compare to Disney resorts as far as quality, size of room etc.?

I would venture to say it's comparable to a Disney deluxe resort.

Maybe check out reviews on tripavisor, and check Hilton's website for room information as well.

Personally, with two (now teenage) kids, I love having two separate bedrooms and a living room for the space, so we all get along better! Plus our own washer/dryer is nice to pack light. I don't mind not having maid service also. Even if it were just myself and my husband, I'd love a one bedroom unit for the washer/dryer!
