Hilton LBV or Palace?

if they're both the same cost (within a few points) of each other.... which one? I've always chosen Palace b/c it's so pretty there (love the island building) but I have friends staying at Holiday inn nearby,it's def. easier to meet up with them (no car) if we choose the other Hilton... I guess I'm worried I'll be miserably disappointed with the Hilton vs. the H Palace if I choose that- Yet the Palace is a bit 'out of the way' off that street (as far as walking times) Advice? It appears that many rooms at the 'other' Hilton seem to face the highway,and that's so not relaxing on a vacation! Help me decide please?

I've stayed at both, and can overwhelmingly recommend the Palace. The rooms are nicer and it just seems like operations run smoother there.

Definitely the Palace due to the Lazy River and wonderful pool area. The pool at the other hotel is, as my daughter would say…meh.
