Hilton International Drive - Know Free Shuttle Bus Routes / Times?

Dear All

My fiance (will wife by then ) and I will be staying at the Hilton on International Drive next year. I have noticed that Disney charge $14 per day for parking and that Hilton offer shuttle buses for free.

Does anyone have any ideas what parks the buses go to and at what times?

I can't help you from experience but as far as I understand they run on a set schedule, as you seem to think as well. Have you thought of sending an email to the Hilton and asking them for the times?

Yep as PP said, they're often on a set schedule, and the hotels will differ between each other.

We stayed at the Springhill suites last year, just off I Drive and we used their free shuttle. It often ran 3 times in the morning: one to get you there before park opening, one at around noon, and one inbetween. There were also then 2 or 3 in the evening, with the last being at around 9:30 - 10:00. The shuttles we had also picked up from other hotels, so it wasn't straight there and back either. I think alot do this....But this is just from our experience. It's just to give you an idea

What we noticed last year (and the time we stayed on I drive before that too, at a different hotel), was that the shuttles didn't run late enough for us to stay until park closing, or sometimes to even see the fireworks and stuff. In this case, we just had to catch the lynx buses home.

The Hilton buses seem to be a lot more regular. Having used the Disney bus system you always spot the other buses in their drop off/pick up area and there were always Hilton buses. Now there is a Hilton in the Downtown Disney area so this could be one of the reasons, but they were definitely around at park closing. You would need to check your specific hotel though.

I am assuming that you are talking about the new Hilton at the convention centre.
Keep in mind the 111 Lynx bus runs to and from the TCC from across the street from the hotel. Takes 15 minutes. Runs every 20-30 minutes. So if the hotel bus service doesn't suit this is a very convenient alternative.

It takes way longer than 15 minutes, probably closer to an hour.

Actually I was slightly incorrect last night. It takes 30 minutes from Destination Parkway (which is the stop across from the hotel) to the TCC. I have double checked the timetable to make sure. It runs every 30 minutes.
