Hilton HHonors points redemption

Hi All,

I had thought I saw somewhere that you could redeem 150,000 Hhonors points for 6 nights at the Doubletree at DTD with some special discount code. Anybody know what the code is or the details on it?

How many points do you get per stay...? I got an email today with regards to getting the HHonors credit card for a fair few points - i was wondering if it was worth it - how many points do you need for a night - roughly?

How many points you earn per stay depends on the type of Hilton property and the cost for the room. More $$$ spent = more points earned. Also, you can earn Hilton point with some rental car companies (Avis is one).

Likewise, when you use points, costlier hotels require more points per night. They are divided into categories, and different categories require more points than others. The Doubletree in DTD is a category 5, which means it is 35,000 points per night for up to 5 nights. Once you book 6 nights or more, they charge you fewer points.

Thanks to the OP for the info. I was able to book my room there for 205,000 points for 7 nights, which saved 75,000 points!

We just changed our plans and are now going together in October. It's an 8 night stay in a king room for only 235,000 points!

Has anyone used their HHonors points for the free 4-day passes? and more over, done this in combination with a Disney stay?
