hilton hhonors disney tickets(EXPIRATION DATES!!!)

I was looking into the redeeming points from hilton hhonors for disney 4 day park hopper pass and was told that the tickets expire in a year. I was shocked to hear this since the tickets from everywhere else has no expiration date. Did anyone else notice this. Or did anyone get these tickets with an expiration date . Thanks- I think I am going to start using another credit card to earn points that do not expire. ANy suggestions!!

You may want to call back and talk to somebody else. I've used these passes for the past several years and have not had any problems. They are regular 4 day park hopper plus passes with the date ordered/purchased by Hilton Honors. They are just like the kind you buy. I've ordered 4 over the last year and sometimes the agent asks for a name to put on the pass, sometimes not so you might want to figure out whose names you need in advance.

thanks ronnie m. I did redeem this also a couple of years ago. I called back and got the same answer"There is a 1 year expiration" I said "I can only use this for a year and she said yes. I am going probably next aug but you never know what comes up, yet I do want to have the tickets on hand so the cost of the trip isn't to high.

Hilton is right and Ronnie M. is right also.
Here's the deal, the Hilton"reward certificate" is only good for a year, so if you get a reward night at a Hilton family hotel that is "technically" good for 1 year. So if you get a uneducated honors rep on the phone, they do not know what they are talking about when it comes to hopper passes, they are just reading the rules for the normal hotel rewards.
Years ago they used to give out a certificate, that was good for one year and you had to give that to disney to exchange for the hoppers, but now they just send hoppers right too you, and they are normal and do not expire!

Okay, I think I am going to go ahead and redeem it. I hope I am doing the right thing and won't loose out and go after the tickets expire(hopefully they do not have an expiration). Wish me luck!!!!

Okay, I called again. First the rep said 1 year, I questioned her since regular passes have no expiration date. She put me on hold then came back and said that the voucher they will send me has a year to actually redeem it for the original pass(at disney). The pass has no expiration date. I questioned that-Last time I received the actual pass. She put me on hold again. New story--- They will send out the actual disney pass with no expiration date. You do have 1 year to change your mind and give the disney pass back to hilton hhonors and they will credit your account back with the original points. A little confusing!!!
Lets hope I get the pass with no expiration date. I will keep you all posted.

I just did this for a trip last December. I got a regular Disney pass in the mail with no expiration date. As a matter of fact, I still have the plus on it and will use that in May.

They really don't know what they are doing when it comes to Disney Tickets. I redeemed last year for 2 tickets to Disneyland. A few days later DH redeemed his for 1 ticket to Disneyland. We had about 4 months before we were leaving. About a month and a 1/2 before we left DH said he was told his ticket would be waiting at Guest services. Since I wasn't told it wasn't being sent I called to verify this. I was told yes it would not be sent. A few days later DH got his ticket by Fedex so I called again. I kept getting the run around. It was not 1 week before our trip and I seriously doubted it would be waiting when we got there. I told them I wanted the tickets before we left. They sent them to me Fedex and I received them 2 days before we departed.

You really need to keep on their back's about this. They kept saying they didn't have any in stock and would send them when they got them. Then the story would change the next time I called.

I just received my 4 day park hopper pass from the fed ex man. There are absolutely NO expiration dates on it. PHEW!!! To all of you who want to redeem, go right ahead before they raise the points for redemption. Thanks for all of your help.
