Hilton Head

Hello-
I currently have 3 nights booked next week in Hilton head. We are then heading to the Smoky Mountains. My question: is 3 night enough? My husband is saying to add another night to the beach (just checked and I can get in) and shorten mountain part to 2 nights---but the mountains are so much cheaper
Having a hard time deciding, so your input with activities, time at beach, and optimal nights stay would be helpful! Thanks

We live in Ohio and often go to the Smokies. There are lots of things to do in the National Park, ranger led experiences, in Cherokee, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you can avoid weekends good for you, because there is plenty of traffic.

I think Hilton Head would be a more relaxing experience.

I also think 3 nights is not enough in either place, but we are retired.

In May we spent 5 nights in HH, and just 1 night in Pigeon Forge on our way home, but we have season passes to Dollywood and just wanted to see some particular shows, it was Bluegrass festival time.
