Hi, I looked on their website and they show alot of great things to do for younger children. Do you think it is a good places to bring older children. Mine will be 15 & 16. Is there enough to do to keep them busy. I seen you can rent bikes and mini golf. Any other sugguestions. Thanks, trying to decide between lake george & hilton head. (We have been to lake george aready and wanted to try something new.) Thanks, Gina

Outdoor Hilton Head has a kayak trip you can sign up for that's teens only.

We don't stay at the DVC resort, but my 16 year old dd and her friends enjoy HH, they find lots to do. There are a lot of activity opportunities (beach, pool, bike, parasail, kayak, tennis, horse, crabbing) plus more typical teen things like movies, bowling, shopping. This list doesn't even include all the stuff they have to do at the resort, which can keep you busy full time right there.

Go to HH if you've never been---I bet you'll be hooked! :sunny:

Teens seem to somehow "find" each other at the HH resort. One really good place is at the pool table in Big Murggie's Den.

DS has been going with us to HH since he was about 7 years old (now a senior in HS) and has never been bored there.

The only concern might be if you're going in a very "low" season, in which case I would recommend bringing a friend along. They can go to miniature golf, arcades, etc. if they get bored.

Teens love the beach, shopping, and good restaurants. There's tennis, golf, fishing, crabbing, biking, movies, parasailing. It's a great place! They'll love it. Spent a week at the Sagamore, Lake George with my teenage daughter last year. It was the slow season, so not much happening. We still enjoyed it, but must say Hilton Head is jumping in comparison............

Thanks all I decided to go. I just made my reservation for Hilton Head and I'm excited. I was thinking of taking friends but my two are so close in age they have each other to hang with. I'm off to look at all the hilton head webpages to see what the island has to offer. Thanks for all your suggustions. I love them. Gina
