Hilton Head: Suggestions for Dining Out???

We'll be heading to Hilton Head this summer and was wondering if anyone could suggest some options for dining out? We'll have 3 teenagers with us for this trip.

Some of our favorite places - Old Oyster Factory, Salty Dog Cafe, San Miguels, Sea Shack and Hudsons. In Savannah, we like Uncle Bubbas Oyster House and Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House.

With two teens & 22yr old Fuddrucker's, Big Bamboo, Hilton Head diner & pizzeria by Piggly Wiggly are always reliable favorites and sometimes they just have us takeout & bring it back to them at resort because they enjoy just being there more than anything, also any quick casual place for seafood ( there are plenty! ), counter serve at Disney resort & its beach house is good too. For our trip in August DH & I hope to try Robert Irvine's new restaurant Eat & Dye's Gullah Fixin's but not sure if the kids will be interested, so that may give DH & I good reason to dine out just the two of us ;-)

Old Oyster Factory is our favorite. We encourage our kids to try new things and there's plenty of "new stuff" to try here!

We enjoyed walking across the bridge to Kingfisher--very good!

We also ordered pizza at Guiseppi's (spelling?) for a more inexpensive, casual meal.

We always enjoyed the Crab Shack. There are 2 locations on HHI. Enjoy your trip.

Well, Hilton Head is the right place for food.
There are over 230 restaurants on the island.

I would consider:
Capt Woody's
Giuseppi's Pizza
Fiesta Fresh
San Miguels
Santa Fe Cafe
Sunset Grille

I recommend going to chum's house for dinner. As long as shark isn't on the menu.

It all depends on if you have picky eaters and your budget. We have a 18 yr old who will try anything once. Many of the menus are at www.hhidining.com. Our favorites are:

Early Birds: Kurama & Marley's - which are as upscale as we get.

Wild Wing Cafe, Sea Shack & LaHacienda and Harold's are great, too.

Dye's was wonderful for Low Country food.

Everyone will have a different opinion.

For sushi, try Fancy Q's. Pretty simple decor, but fantastical food!!
