Hello all, I am curious to learn about the Hilton Head resort. What do you like or dislike.

Can you tell me about activities at the resort or off the property? What is there to do as a tourist? We are all child-free in our group so I am interested in learning where there is to do for persons over 33 and all the way up to 65.

Thank you! :lovestruc

We've been to HHI twice now and just love it. We have not done this but I swear we'll get there next time: there is a local winery with a wine tasting and light fare offered-I think once a week. They give you alot of local info when you check in that will give the name of the winery and the day or days it's offered. :)

We go to HHI every summer for 4-5 nights (since 2004) and usually 1-2 nights around xmas(before ater wdw). Previous posts gave great suggestions...We have been going without Ds since 2005 -just adults, and find its just doing whatever we want that makes us happy. The resort, beach house and the whole island have plenty to do or many places to relax, read, watch the dolphins or do nothing. There is great dining..go to hhidining.com for menus or make sure to stop by the visitor center just as you get on the island(by the crazy crab) and pick up the menu book. There are many spots with entertainment that are also nice. We usually do a day trip to Beaufort and sometimes end with overnight in Savannah, but you can also do it as a day trip. We will be there for the 4th july this year.
Have fun! Make sure to have morning coffe on your deck and you may be able to watch dolphins at mouth of shelter cove..we have!

This sounds amazing! Who doesn't want to start the day by watching dolphins while sipping the morning coffee? This sounds like it is perfect!:thumbsup2
